With the help of friend Kevinsorbo, I took Eilonwy to the Outland… yes, she’s “only” level 56 so that makes questing there not a real possibility, but I did get to take her to Shatt, so that was fun. Before we went there we gazed at the other side of the portal that she cannot go through:

Whoa, Kit! That first screenshot of the Legion laying siege to the portal. First of all, they got pretty far up the steps! Usually the groups are defeated on the lower steps rather than at the first level. And second, you’ve unwittingly captured one of the most coincidental iconic shots of outland ever! The Orgrimmar Grunt fighting back to back with the Stormwind Soldier against the common enemy of the Burning Legion…I don’t think that those two npcs are programmed with a preset path to stand back to back like that. It was sheer accident that aggros were pulled in such a manner. Brilliant!
Thanks Sean, I actually have to give credit to Ivy for all of the awesome screens here, she diligently made the most of her first tour. Yes, I especially liked the battle scene at the portal–Ivy was standing so close to all the action I began to wonder if she’d get taken out by an AOE…
